Event Parking Services
Are you hosting an event on campus and require parking for your guests? Based on the size of your event and expected attendance, below are a list of recommended options for parking, wayfinding, and other services.
-
I need to arrange parking for up to 10 guests.
For a small gathering or meeting that requires only parking for up to 10 guests, you have two options:
- You can make all of the parking arrangements ahead of time so your guests can go directly to the designated parking lot. This requires collection and submission of all license plate numbers.
- Please have your department transactor submit a request to the "TAPS-Advan Guest Permit" service provider in the Work Order System.
- A Chart of Account (COA) must be included in the request. The COA will be billed for the number of permits requested.
- Request must be made at least 1 business day prior to arrival [need to confirm text about processing time before guests arrival].
- This option can be used to request multi-day parking.
- Arrangements can also be made so that the guests can stop at the information kiosk to register for parking. On the day of arrival and before parking, guests should stop at the Information Kiosk and let the kiosk ambassador know they are on the kiosk guest list. The ambassador will look them up in their system, collect the vehicle information, and issue a virtual parking permit.
- Please have your department transactor complete the TAPS-KIOSK form to submit a request.
- A Chart of Account (COA) must be included in the form. The COA will only be billed for the number of permits issued, not the total number requested.
- License plate numbers are not required ahead of time.
- Permits will only be issued upon arrival at the kiosk.
- This option is available for same day arrival.
- Parking starts as low as $12/permit for Gold lots for both options. Refer to the Parking Permits section in the Event Parking Rates table for additional parking prices.
- You can make all of the parking arrangements ahead of time so your guests can go directly to the designated parking lot. This requires collection and submission of all license plate numbers.
-
I'm hosting an event on campus with more than 10 guests and need additional Event Parking services.
- For an event or gatherings of more than 10, arrangements can be made so that guests can register for parking prior to arrival via Offstreet or ParkMobile. Services start at $55.
- If you would like to include signs to direct guests the designated parking lot, Event Parking offers standard signs that read "Event Parking Lot #" starting at an additional $80.
- If you prefer custom wayfinding signs with your event name, they start at $200.
- If you would like to have an ambassador in the lot to greet your guests and assist them with parking registrations, it's an additional $54/hour with a 3-hour minimum.
- You can also have the information kiosk open outside of normal business hours to assist your guests. The extension beyond normal business hours is $54/hour.
- A 3-hour minimum is required to have the kiosk open on Saturdays and Sundays.
- If you have speakers or VIPs and would like to reserve a designated parking space for them, it is starting at $59/space in Gold lots.
- This fee includes a custom sign that reads "Reserved for _______".
Please refer to the Event Parking Rates table for a list of additional permits options and Event Parking services.

What is the Community Parking Program (CPP), and how does my event qualify for it?
To further ensure and support community access, central campus funding has been made available to provide complimentary parking to community visitors attending academic, outreach, student, and cultural events that are free and open to the campus and community. Based on the characteristics of individual events, certain services will be required to use the program in order to ensure all events representing the campus are successful and well received by the community. For more information, please visit the CPP page.
