Housing Parking Permit Information
Campus Apartments Continuing Residents - If you are a Campus Apartment continuing resident, will be living here over the summer and have already purchased a 2013-2014 annual housing permit, you may pick it up at the Transportation and Parking Services office. If you still need to purchase a permit, you may purchase one at our office.
Campus Apartments Fall Quarter Check-Ins - Parking permits for Fall quarter check-ins for Bannockburn, Falkirk, Glen Mor, Oban and University Plaza will be available for purchase online August 12th - August 23rd. Campus apartment permits purchased during this time period will be available for pickup on September 6th at your designated Check-In Day location. After September 6th, you may purchase your permit at the Transportation and Parking Services office.
Residence Halls Fall Quarter Move-Ins - Parking permits for Fall quarter Residence Hall move-ins will be available for purchase online August 30th - September 13th. Residence Hall parking permits are available on a first come, first served basis. Residence hall permits purchased during this time period will be available for pickup on September 22nd at your designated Move-In Day location. If permits sell out, you may add yourself to a waiting list through our online parking account center.
I-215 Freeway Widening - May Impact UCR Motorists
A freeway widening project along southbound I-215 between Blaine St. and Martin Luther King Blvd. may impact UCR motorists between June 11th and August 31st. Please see the project closure flyer for more details.
Summer Session Permits On Sale Now
Gold and Night summer session permits are available for purchase online or in the Parking office.
Gold Plus summer session permits, in limited supply, are available for purchase in the Parking office.
New Point-to-Point Shuttle Service Available
Beginning May 20, 2013, Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) is pleased to offer a new evening point-to-point shuttle service that will take UCR students from the Bookstore to off campus locations within our Service Area. The point-to-point shuttle will provide safe, secure transportation for students from our campus to their homes. Please visit http://parking.ucr.edu/shuttle for more information.
U-PASS Program allows Students, Faculty and Staff free ride option
Driver Training Course Implemented through Transportation & Parking Services
TAPS provides Driver Training for UC Riverside Staff and Students assigned to driving UC vehicles and carts. If your department personnel haven’t taken the training course yet, sign them up today by contacting Mary Amimoto at TAPS.
