Motorist Assistance

Breadcrumb

In the event your vehicle becomes disabled, Transportation and Parking Services provides several motorist assistance services on the UCR main campus.  Assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and on weekends from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Assistance is not available on campus holidays.  Our Parking Enforcement Representatives are trained to provide the following services.

•    Vehicle Battery Jump Start
•    Vehicle Key Lock-out
•    Gasoline Service (1 gallon)
•    Tire air service for vehicles

To request service call 951-827-4133.  The next available representative will be sent to the vehicle’s location. Service requests during inclement weather and other high-volume times may result in service delays of 30 minutes or more.

Self-service tire inflation stations are available in Parking Lots 13 and 30.

The Motorist Assistance Program provides support to campus permit holders to help them return home or reach an appropriate vehicle repair center.  The program does not provide routine vehicle services as an alternative to proper care and maintenance. Gasoline service will only be provided one time per year to disabled vehicles.  Requests for repetitive services for the same vehicle may be denied.

If you have an emergency, call 911.

To report a crime, contact UC Police Department Dispatch at 951-827-5222 or visit their office located on campus at 3500 Canyon Crest Drive.
