Spring Quarter 2015 Commuter Parking Permits

Spring Quarter Gold Plus permits are available in limited supply at the Parking Services office.  They are no longer available online.

Spring quarter 2015 Gold commuter permits are available for purchase online via the Parking Account Center.  Undergraduate commuter students MUST purchase their permits online. A $15.00 fee will be charged for lost, stolen or returned permits.

At this time, Commuter Permits must be picked up in person. Permits will be available for pick up the next business day at the Parking Services building.  Parking Services is located on campus at 683 Linden St. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. 

Residence Hall 2014-2015 Parking Permits

Residence Hall parking permits are available for purchase at the Parking Services office.  A $15.00 fee will be charged for lost, stolen or returned permits.

Campus Apartments 2014-2015 Parking Permits

Campus apartment (Bannockburn, Falkirk, Oban, University Plaza, and Glen Mor) parking permits are available for purchase at the Parking Services office.  A $15.00 fee will be charged for lost, stolen or returned permits.

Stonehaven 2014-2015 Parking Permits

Stonehaven parking permits are available for purchase via the Stonehaven Housing website.


Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Now Available

Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed in Lots 1, 6, 15, and 30.  All chargers are part of the ChargePoint network. Please see our Electric Vehicle web page for more information.

Budget and Planning

The Budget and Planning reports provide data on TAPS' current financial position for 2011/12 and projections through 2021/22.

TAPS Summary of Financial Position 2012/13 - 2017/18

The TAPS Summary of Financial Position 2012/13 - 2017/18 presentation provides highlights of TAPS' 5 year operating plan.  This summary was created in Winter 2013 and while some of the information has changed, it nonetheless provides a good representation of the departments financial position and long range plans. The summary includes background details on TAPS revenue and expenses for 2011/12, projections for 2012/13 and a recovery and growth plan for 2014/15 through 2017/18.

Long Range Parking Model

The TAPS Long Range Parking Model provides an operating plan and budget through 2021/22 (updated in Spring 2014) and consists of 5 major components:

Parking Lot Renewal and Replacement Projects
Equipment Replacement
Parking Space Supply and Demand

Detailed Operating Budget Information

TAPS' operating budget is divided into three distinct activities:  Permits, Fines and Forfeitures, and Transit Operations.  Each  year TAPS submits its budget proposal to the Office of Resource Planning and Budget and ultimately to the EVC/Provost.  Included below are the selected tables for the operating budgets submitted and approved by the EVC/Provost for fiscal year 2014/15.  Information from these tables are combined to perform the revenue and expenditure calculations used in the long range parking model. A table illustrating rate comparisons with other UC campuses is provided in Tab G of the TAPS Parking Services file below.
